Isaiah "God is my Salvation"

Did you know that Isaiah means "God is my salvation"? Our God is our salvation. But it has nothing to do with healing our bodies on this earth and everything to do with restoring us to right relationship with God himself by his grace for eternity. We are so blessed to have tasted the beauty of healing and restoration in this fallen world and long for the day when brokenness will no longer be a part of our story. We pray that you may know and experience this truth as well.

"The Lord is my Rock, and my Fortress, and my Deliverer; My God, My Strength, in whom I will trust." ~Psalm 18:2

Isaiah's Story

On Sunday, December 28, 2014 Isaiah took on the Herman the German sledding hill in New Ulm. At the bottom of the hill, at a very high rate of speed, he either bailed late or hit directly a crevice where the hill had washed out, suffering internal injuries. After a short visit to the New Ulm Medical Center ER he was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) in Minneapolis. He suffered a lacerated kidney. A stent was placed to bridge a separation between his ureter and kidney that occurred because of the accident as well. Miraculously he suffered no head injuries or broken bones. He has not needed surgery to repair the kidney, time and rest will hopefully be all that is needed to heal that injury. On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 Isaiah returned home from the hospital. Every day we see steps forward in the healing process.
