Isaiah has been moved to "floor status,"
meaning he could be moved out of ICU.
However, he will stay to assist staffing as there is another very sick
baby in ICU (and the number of nurses on the floor relates to the number of
patients). Please pray for this precious
little 2 month old. We desire that that
child’s family would know the strength and goodness of the Lord in the midst of
the hard. May they be filled with peace
as they face the ups and downs of this journey.
God is near.
Isaiah's needs and goals right now are to eat enough food
to justify removal of IV nutrition and to move around out of bed to sustain and
gain his strength. Pray for: good food that Isaiah desires to eat, strong
muscles that regain mobility, restful sleep for all, and the sweet 2 month old
baby who needs us battling on his/her behalf.
"The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and
effective." –James 5:16b
Praise God from who all blessings flow!! How exciting to be moving to the Peds floor!! I remember all the feelings of moving from the PICU to the Peds floor at St Mary's a Hospital in Rochester when Bly was in heart failure as a baby. We didn't think we were going to leave the hospital with Bly alive, so to hear the words of going home one day with Bly alive, we were beyond thrilled. That was over 10yrs ago. We are so grateful to hear of Isaiah's personality shining through with giving hugs and being so sweet. We are so grateful to hear of his eating. Thank you, Jesus!! We will continue to pray that his body will be free of any effects of the meds that he was on and to be free of pain. We pray for complete healing for this precious boy! Your strength and faith in The Lord is a witness to all! Love and Hugs, the Brody Family
