A friend from church asked The Lord for a word to share with us. His attention was drawn to John 9:1-3. We find it absolutely fits and blesses us.
Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind
As he [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him."
Thank you, Lord, that your works are being displayed through us. To God be the glory!
Today was a great day! Evelyn and Naomi were able to come for a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Friese. Isaiah enjoyed being boss for a day and showing his sisters around the hospital. He was up and walking around several times, even initiating it. He continues to eat more and more; imagine not eating for ten days and then having a plate of food in front of you, your eyes are going to be much bigger than your stomach. We are hoping and praying he will be completely off IV nutrition tomorrow. We continue to pray for and celebrate continued gaining of strength. Doctors and others are so excited to see Isaiah like this. They are as amazed as we are. There is even talk about us leaving this place, which is a great sign. Join us in magnifying the Lord with thanksgiving. We are so thankful.
To God be praised! So happy to hear of Isaiah's miraculous recovery!
